Assignment: Students will research a specific area of Asian
world history and teach the material to the class…and the teacher.
Guidelines:
1. Comprehension Create and present a PowerPoint or Prezi presentation. As a guideline, my PowerPoint presentations
for introducing material are between 5-10 slides.
2. Research
Create 12-15 Reading Questions and one other worksheet that covers
your material. You may model yours after
the type I give you regularly. You are
free to design your own, as well. The
worksheets can be short biographies, mapping activities, primary resource
activities, graphing or chart skill activities.
They can be crosswords with clues or fill-in the blanks. Provide an answer keys for all.
3. Assessment
Create a short quiz (8-10 questions). This can be true/false, multiple choice,
matching, and short answer. A
combination is best. Provide an answer
key.
4. Application
Create a short game that reviews what you taught. Online games are acceptable.
5. Extension
Present or demonstrate music, dance, art, or film that people of
your section were accustomed to. This is
extra credit only.
